Get to know our latest Elevate Prize Catalyst Award recipient, Emmy Award–winning actor, producer, director, author, and activist Kerry Washington! Presented at the Sundance Film Festival, the honor recognizes Washington’s decades-long commitment to using storytelling as a powerful force for democracy. During her acceptance speech, Washington revealed that she will join Elevate Studios as an Executive Producer for the second season of Nevertheless: Democracy Defenders.
