“ULTIMATELY, THE GOAL IS TO AWAKEN THE HERO IN ALL OF US, AND IGNITE A CHAIN REACTION OF GIVING AND GOODNESS ON A GLOBAL SCALE.”
FOUNDER OF THE ELEVATE PRIZE FOUNDATION
This month’s theme is Education Equity.
We’re championing organizations who are helping to level the playing field so that every child has an equal chance for success.
Education equity can take many forms, from fighting for girls’ right to education, to developing anti-racist curriculum, to providing teaching that takes into account the unique barriers faced by individuals. They all add up to an environment where all children have the opportunity to fulfill their potential. Because, as Sonia Sotomayor puts it, “until we get equality in education, we won’t have an equal society.”
We’re looking for grassroots organizations that are helping children access quality education – and change the world. So tell us, who do YOU know?
Nominations open on 9/21 and close on 9/26.
We’re excited to announce the winners of our Get Loud Awards! And honored to support these remarkable organizations:
So get thinking, get inspired, and get over to Instagram to tell us all about organizations that could turn $10,000 into impact!
Who can nominate?
ANYONE can make a nomination for this award unless you work for The Elevate Prize Foundation (we think that would be a little too insider-y). Nominate an organization whose work you believe in, or nominate your OWN organization!
How are winners chosen?
Organizations can be nominated infinite times, but that won’t impact judging. Winners will be chosen by the Elevate team regardless of number or nominations, based on their mission, budget, and impact.
