Piyush Tewari founded SaveLIFE Foundation in 2008 after losing a young family member in a road crash, and has since spearheaded India’s Good Samaritan Law, which protects bystanders who help crash victims from legal liability. He also developed an award-winning model for reducing highway fatalities and was appointed to India’s National Road Safety Council in 2019. He holds an MPA from Harvard and previously worked in private equity before founding SaveLIFE.
