The Project: Adyan Foundation
The Big Picture:
Fadi Daou, founder of the Adyan Foundation, is taking a grassroots approach to diversity and inclusion in the MENA region. He’s literally working for peace in the Middle East, by shifting deep seated negative stereotypes and cultural misunderstandings behind ongoing conflict in the greater Middle East. And it’s working. It starts with an interfaith curriculum that focuses on common values, and activates the community at every level, from youth to educators to policymakers.
