Get loud 2

Awarded every month to a community-based organization nominated on Instagram by you!

GET ORGANIZED.

GET LOUD.

TOPIC OF THE MONTH

REIMAGINING DISABILITIES

Approximately 16% of the global population is Disabled, yet inaccessibility remains a pervasive barrier to meaningful participation in employment and society for Disabled people.

That’s why this month, in partnership with @diversability and @making_space_, we are looking for TWO organizations advocating for and taking pride in their communities, with one specifically focused on autism acceptance and advocacy, and one supporting the broader Disability community.

This includes organizations supporting and advocating for people with both apparent and non-apparent disabilities, such as a physical disability, cognitive disability, mental health disability, chronic illness, blindness, deafness, neurodivergence, learning disability, etc.

Comment below to nominate organizations anywhere in the world that are advancing disability rights and access – whether they’re expanding services to those in need, advocating for inclusive policy, empowering Disabled leaders, or reimagining what an accessible world looks like.

ABOUT THE AWARD

No applications, no barriers.

Community-based and grassroots organizations do incredible, life-changing work, often with scarce resources and little visibility. But how can funders like us find and support their work? That’s where the Elevate Prize GET LOUD Award comes in.

A first-of-its-kind, this award is driven entirely by public nominations on Instagram (that’s people like YOU!) based on a timely theme—no applications, no barriers.

GET LOUD is also designed to move funding quickly and efficiently to organizations around the world to ensure these remarkable changemakers get the support they deserve.
